My name is Rev David Kiegel.  My wife Mindi and I are excited about being called to pastor here at First Baptist Church.  We look at this as a great opportunity to teach others about our Lord and Savior and grow His church.  Boonville is home for us as we both grew up here and now raise our children here as well.

I answered the call to the ministry on March 15, 2009 during the morning worship service while attending Tennyson General Baptist Church.  I was ordained on June 5, 2011 at Centenary General Baptist Church in Yankeetown, IN .   God has given us a desire to serve and help people find their own personal relationship with Christ.

I know God’s presence is with me as He leads me in my ministry.  He has given me many experiences that have helped to shape me into the minister that I am today.   I am a preacher who gets excited about preaching the Gospel.

Outside of church I enjoy working on our farm, camping with the family, hunting, and enjoying God’s beautiful creation.  I love music and enjoy attending Southern Gospel singings.
